Wonder | A Poem

I wonder…

Lord, what the future holds for me

Though I’m not guaranteed today

Lord, what the plans are for me

I know they are good You say

I wonder…

Lord, what will my walk look like

I hope I am leaning in closer to pray

Lord, am I still listening to You?

Direct my steps that I may

I wonder…

Lord, do You see if I have this or that

If I don’t at least make sure I don’t stray

Lord, is something on Your throne

If so pull it down and reclaim it today.

Lord, though there may be much to wonder.

The same Your name does stay.

Lord, let me always hear Your voice,

and lead me Your way.
