Sorrow - A Poem

Lord? 

I know You were there

But did You see?

Lord? 

I know You were with me

But how did You feel?

I envision your arms wrapped around me

I saw the tears roll down your face

I began to feel your embrace.

You met me in my sorrow

You met me in my weakness.

You felt my pain, grief, doubt and rejection.

Lord, you hold me in the sorrow and You love me there.
